Questions
Answered honestly.
Is tankless really worth it over a regular tank?
If you're tired of running out of hot water, or looking to save a few bucks on gas every month — yes. Tankless water heaters also last 2× longer (up to 35 years vs. only 15 for a conventional tank) and drop gas use 25–30%. For a small household with one bathroom, a standard tank may still be the better math.
Will my existing gas line handle it?
Sometimes — usually not. A tankless needs a 3/4" line; most tanks run on 1/2". If we need to upgrade, it's quoted upfront, no surprises at install time.
How long do I go without hot water during install?
Usually about 4 hours on a swap. We start in the morning, finish by mid-afternoon. Skip the morning shower, come home to endless hot water.
Can I finance the install?
Yes. $0 down, 0% for 12 months, OAC. Monthly payments on a new Rinnai Sensei start $45/month on a 10-year term.
